The State Links below are intended to
provide you an opportunity to check into the laws of your state so
that you can be an informed consumer. Please note that in some
states, Investigators are not required to be state licensed. There
are exceptions however. Alaska for example does not
license investigators at present, but the City of Fairbanks does
require a license for an investigator to work in their city.
We suggest that you inquire with several investigators in your
chosen area as to if a license is required. A reputable
investigator will be very pleased to offer you the name and contact
number of the license agency.

The links below
point to the agency or law that regulates the Investigative industry
in each state. Those without links are those that presently do
not require a license.
