DATABASE DRIVEN
If you take a few moments to examine our directory, you'll notice that it is database driven.  You won't find a simple webpage with listings in html form.  Information is managed on the backend with a database which allows you to participate in your own listing and allows a state of the art search module to produce desired results. 

SEARCHABLE
Our database is completely searchable.  Type any word into the search engine box at the top of the database and you'll see only those records that contain that word.  People can find YOU!  And that is what is important.  You need to stand out in the crowd and you can do that by entering specific information into your specialty fields.  When people look for investigators in a specific city, and then refine their search to say, "process servers", only those records that have that specialty will be shown. 

MANAGE YOUR OWN LISTING
Each investigator manages their own data by accessing a private login with their username and password.  Forget your password?  Not a problem; simply enter your email into the form and click submit and the system will automatically mail it to you at the email in the database.

• After that year, assuming that we have met the goals of becoming a premier resource for the public to locate private investigators, we intend to charge a nominal listing fee that will be BELOW that what you are, perhaps paying an association to be listed.  The question has been asked by several parties, what do you get for membership fees in other associations and we're mindful of the need to deliver a service.

You control your listing.  Clicking the ADD YOUR LISTING link below will take you to a form entry page similar to THIS ONE which allows you to enter your own data.  There you simply enter your own data and hit SAVE.

• Please use care to write your listing as you want it to be shown. Please spell check and double check your listing before clicking save.
   

• User names and Passwords ARE case sensitive and although you can enter them in any format, you will then have to use that format in the future to login.
   

• What you write in the SLOGAN field is displayed to the side of your name in Italics.
   

• If you want your website to be shown and the link to work, simply make sure that you start the link with http:// otherwise the link will not work from the database. 
   

• Write what fields of expertise and disciplines that your agency is involved in so that the pubic and other investigators might better understand the type of work that you do.
   

• Please indicate if your state requires you to be licensed, and whether or not you are licensed and include your license number.  You can also advise if you are insured or bonded in the Specialty field.
   

• BEFORE YOU CAN SAVE, you must certify that this information is true and correct.  Then press save.

PLEASE CHECK THE DATABASE TO VERIFY THAT YOU ARE NOT ALREADY LISTED.  We've noticed that sometimes, duplicate records get entered.  If you have a record already there, and you've lost your login, click the FORGOT PASSWORD link on the login box, or email us and we'll help.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE FORM?

After you hit SAVE on the add form, you will be redirected to a page to advise you that the entry was successful.  For information purposes, in the future we will use that "successful entry" page to collect your listing fees but right now, the listing is completely Free for one year.  *

*  After one year, the listing will expire and not be publically displayed until such time as you renew it or it is manually deleted by our database administrators.  You are under NO OBLIGATION to continue your listing after it expires but we hope you will want to.

YOUR LISTING WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE DIRECTORY UNTIL APPROVED

Our Database Administrators will be notified that a new submission has arrived and as soon as possible, we will set the expire data, assign you a member number and approve the record for presentation on the directory.  Our approval process is intended to prevent spam and in no way constitutes validation or verification of your data.  YOU are responsible for the content of the display. **

** That said, our Administrators reserve the right to remove any listing, which in their judgment is inappropriate or known to be inaccurate or misleading to the public.
